Command Center — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are, and who this covers

Command Center is software for trucking and hauling companies provided by Keep Investments Simple Stupid, Inc., 2202 S Figueroa St. #437, Los Angeles CA 90007 ("we", "us"). Contact: marco@kissinvestments.co. This policy covers ops.mykiss.net, drive.mykiss.net, partner.mykiss.net, Mission Control, and hosted subscriber domains.

2. Our role, and the subscriber's role

We act as a service provider (data processor) for operational records managed by subscribers. For subscriber accounts, billing, and Mission Control, we act as the responsible business (data controller).

3. What we collect, and why

Accounts, dispatch logs, GPS shift location, upload documents/tickets, digital signatures, wellness check-ins, HR records, certified payroll (encrypted SSNs and addresses), voluntary demographic reports, vendor details, and texting logs.

4. Phone location in detail

Location is recorded only while a person is working a shift. Capture starts when the driver completes a clean pre-trip inspection or taps START, whichever comes first, and continues through END. When a paid drive back to the yard follows END, capture continues during that drive until the phone arrives at the yard. The installed field app records location with the screen locked when the phone's location permission is set to "Always"; the browser page records location only while it is open. Each tap in the field app is checked against the phone's position at that moment. The server refuses positions reported outside the shift window. Raw GPS points are automatically purged 90 days after the shift; a summary is kept (the number of points, the times, the distance and the area covered). Records are kept longer while a legal hold, unpaid billing, a dispute, a certified-payroll filing, an open exception or an incident applies to them. Some records keep a single position and are not purged: taps, clock-in and clock-out events, photos, and the place where a customer signed.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Mobile phone numbers, text opt-in data, and consent records are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Shared strictly with infrastructure providers (Render, Anthropic AI, Twilio, TomTom, Intuit, Increase).

6. Intuit QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks keys are stored encrypted. Subscribers may disconnect at any time (Money -> Books -> Disconnect), triggering key revocation and purging stored tokens. Disconnecting a connected mailbox also clears its stored sign-in tokens, and unlinking a bank account connected through Plaid removes the Plaid item.

7. Retention Schedule

• Raw phone GPS history: 90 days.
• Billing & tax documents: 7 years.
• SMS message logs: 5 years.
• HR check-in & worker records: 36 months after employment ends.
• Post-cancellation subscriber schema export window: 60 days.
